FACULTY & STAFF:

  FACULTY

Saint Katherine of Siena School prides itself on its faculty and staff. It is because of their understanding of the school's mission statement and their willingness to accomplish it that our school excels. There are twenty-six classroom teachers, a full-time librarian, a technology teacher, an honors math teacher, a music teacher, a physical education teacher, and two learning support teachers. In addition, there are two school secretaries, a vice-principal and a principal.

A sense of stewardship pervades the faculty and staff in that they are aware of the gifts they have been given and so generously share these gifts with each other and with the school children. One-third of the faculty has Master degrees. Many faculty members continually take college credited courses along with attending workshops. Teachers also update their credentials annually through Archdiocesan in-service days and through attending Archdiocesan-sponsored and book-company sponsored workshops. Many teachers currently hold dual certifications in elementary education and either special education, early childhood education, or reading.
