HISTORY:
Originally, the children of St. Katherine's parish attended St. Dominic's school, but in 1938, the children were transferred to Eden Hall, a school a short distance from St. Katherine Parish, where they were educated by the Sisters of the Sacred Heart. In 1961, when St. Katherine of Siena School opened, the school was staffed with Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth.
Saint Katherine of Siena was proud to announce the opening of the Parish Center in June 2003. This state of the art Physical Education facility is also available to the entire parish community. It is used by children in the C.A.R.E.S. Program, C.Y.O., CCD, the Stewardship Committee, and numerous other parish organizations. The regulation size gymnasium features bleacher seating and multi-purpose flooring. It is also equipped for theatrical performances. Additionally, it has three meeting rooms and a kitchen. The facility, which is attached to the school, is also handicapped accessible.
